I used to joke I wanted to marry an olive-skinned girl so my children could be out in the sun for 10 minutes without burning, but married one fairer than I am. And most people say our kids look just like both of us - probably because we have similar northern european features.
I had read about this similarity many years ago, and over the years, I've noticed it seems to be quite true. Not only are their similarities in experience, but also environmental and eating habits. Does this mean I'll resemble my dog someday?
